Salad is the best and beautiful part of the food world. Fruits and vegetables are its best friends as these are the main ingredients of salad recipe. There are many recipes and varieties of salads around the world but here are some quick, easy and delicious for you.

1. Russian Salad Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Potatoes boiled and cut in cubes 2-3
  • Carrot boiled and cut in cubes 1-2
  • Green Peas boiled ½ Cup
  • Mayonnaise ½ Cups
  • Cream 4 to 5 Tsp
  • Caster Sugar 1 Tsp
  • Salt ¼ tsp
  • Black pepper powder ¼ Tsp
  • Pineapple chunks 1/3 Cup
  • Apple Cubes 1 Cup
  • Corn Boiled ½ Cup
  • Raisins 2-3 Tsp
  • Walnuts and cashew 2-3 Tsp

Directions:

In a bowl, add mayonnaise, sugar, cream, salt, and pepper powder and mix nicely.

2. Chicken Macaroni Salad Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Elbow macaroni (boiled) 500gm
  • Chicken (boiled) 250gm
  • Mustard paste 1 Tsp
  • Salt ½ Tsp
  • Black pepper crushed ½ Tsp
  • Carrot cubes 1
  • Green onion 1
  • Red bell pepper 1 cut in cubes
  • Cabbage few leaves cut in cubes
  • Black olives (chopped in round shape) 1/3 Cup
  • Oil 4 Tsp
  • Soya sauce 2 Tsp
  • Vinegar 2 Tsp

Directions:

In a pan heat the oil and add the onion. Sauté it for a few minutes and then adds chicken shreds, black pepper powder, salt, soya sauce, vinegar, mustard paste and cook for 1 minute.

Now add the vegetables cubes and cook for 2 minutes.

Finally add boiled macaroni and cover it for 2 more minutes.

Garnish it with fresh mint leaves and olives.

3. Chickpeas Salad Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Chickpeas boiled 1 Cup
  • Salt ¼ Tsp
  • Black pepper ½ Tsp
  • Cumin seeds roasted ½ Tsp
  • Garlic finely chopped 1Tsp
  • Mustard paste 1 Tsp
  • Lemon juice 1 Tsp
  • Vinegar 2 Tsp
  • Olive oil 2 Tsp
  • Carrot 1
  • Cucumber 1
  • Onion 1 small
  • Tomato 1
  • Bell pepper 1
  • Few fresh parsley leaves
  • Mint leaves a few
  • Sesame seeds

Directions:

Wash and cut all the vegetables in cubes and wash the mint leaves and parsley and finely chop it.

In a big bowl, add salt, sesame seeds, black pepper powder, cumin seeds, mustard paste, garlic paste, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, chili flakes, and olive oil and mix them well.

Now add boiled chickpeas, cucumber, carrot, onion, fresh parsley, tomatoes, bell pepper, fresh mint leaves and mix well.

Finally, mix and dish out in a serving bowl and pour some lemon juice & garlic sauce and mix well, it’s ready to serve.

4. Garden Salad Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Lettuce leaves 5-7
  • Tomatoes 2
  • Purple onion 1
  • Cucumber 1
  • Carrot 1
  • Olive oil 3 Tsp
  • White vinegar 1 Tsp
  • Salt 1\2 Tsp
  • Black pepper crushed 1\2 Tsp

Directions:

Wash all the vegetables and lettuce leaves properly then cut in medium size cubes.

In a bowl add all the vegetables and add salt, black pepper, vinegar, olive oil and mix well.
